Impatient...like her mother!!

I went to the doctor for my 37 week check yesterday with DeAnn. It seems that I have dialated another centimeter to 3cms and I am now 80% effaced. It appears that she is really ready to make an entrance into the world!! We scheduled an induction for November 18th but I am getting nervous about next week. There will be a full moon on Thursday, I believe, and she is already chomping at the bit to get out...so we're hoping she'll hold out until at least the weekend! The reality that we will have another human life to care for in a matter of days is slowly starting to dawn on Brad and I. We packed a bag for the hospital the other night and we are mentally making lists of things we need to accomplish before she gets here! I guess its time to take down the dog cage in our room and replace it with a bassinet! If things go as planned, my last day of work will be November 14th. I will take November 17th to get things organized and I will be induced on November 18th. I am frantically trying to complete lesson plans and make sure my sub will have everything she needs! Mom and dad are in Florida right now at Flagler Beach so needless to say every time I call, mom wants to know if I'm having her! I think she is having fun down there but she's nervous that she's going to miss it since it looks like Lilly is making her way on down! We were unable to get her weight since she is SO LOW in my pelvis and would not cooperate with the ultrasound. Her heartrate was 142...back up from last week. So again...we're just waiting and we are so grateful for everyone who is anxiously awaiting her with us! Much love!
