Lilly Anne is now 2 weeks old! We can not believe it...she has changed so much in the past couple of weeks. She certainly looks different to us! We had our 2 week check up today. The doctor was confident that the jaundice issue is no longer an issue. He also said that she seems to be thriving otherwise! She now weighs 7lbs 11ozs...thats 7ozs more than she weighed at birth! I guess the breastmilk is fattening her up!! She is in the 49th percentile for weight. Her length is now 20 3/4 in...the 75th percentile. She is definately going to be tall like her daddy. Her head is 13 1/4 in which is in the 8th percentile. She'll have a skinny head like her daddy also. She is eating and sleeping well and letting me get some sleep at night. Brad went back to work on Sunday night which neither I nor Lilly was particularily excited about. However, she did well and I managed to wake up enough to change a few diapers and feed her! It has been nice to see him in the morning and we still get in some quality family time once I drag myself out of bed. Lilly is becoming more and more alert everyday. She is constantly amazed by her hands and is loving her pacifier...like her mommy! I've already begun thinking about exit strategies from the pacifier in the coming years!
Lilly with Liam and Lainey...yes...he's wild!!
We enjoyed a busy week of holiday festivities last week for Thanksgiving and we are glad to have some down time at home this week. We were able to see Brad's family for lunch and spend time with my family at Stone Mountain. We have so much to be thankful for this year. We are blessed with a precious little girl and wonderful family. We continue to be thankful to have such wonderful immediate family as well as extended family. Thank you to everyone for being the reason our lives are so full and blessed.
Lilly was all decked out for her first Georgia football tailgating experience! Too bad she couldn't enjoy her first bulldog win...we'll have to wait for the bowl game, I guess. We stayed in the motorhome with Gigi because the weather was extremely cold, wet, and windy. She was perfectly fine with that plan as she slept most of the day! We enjoyed a yummy low country boil despite the weather. Thanks Bob and Pat!
