Beautiful Ceremonies

Mother's Day was particularily special for us this year. Not only was it my first Mother's Day but we also had Lilly Baptized that morning. Rev. Terry Walton, at my church in Gainesville, did a wonderful job. Lilly was so good and never cried once. She hammed it up with everyone in the congregation. We had several comments from people about how good she was....but of course we already knew that!!
We were so proud to be Baptizing our daughter and placing her in God's care now and forevermore. She looked absolutely beautiful in her Christening Gown. Of course...she had to do some christening of her own and promptly spit up all over it once we got settled at church.

CHRIS & KELLY'S WEDDING
Another beautiful ceremony we were able to enjoy over the last couple of weeks was Chris, Brad's brother, and Kelly's wedding. We spent the weekend at The Higdon House in Greensboro, GA with the entire wedding party. We were treated to a beautiful breakfast by candlelight every morning. I told Brad I wanted that when we got home...hasn't happened yet!! Lilly won everyone over the entire weekend...as usual. Kelly was a gorgeous bride and you could really feel the love the entire weekend.
Lilly was absolutely pooped after the ceremony!! Mom claimed she was getting hot in her arms, so her solution to this was to lay her out on the table like a Thanksgiving turkey!! Obviously this did not phase Lilly who slept very soundly until she kicked the tealight over with her foot and burned the side of her foot. She is her mother's daughter!!!
Lainey Bug was loving all the dancing!!
Lilly loved dancing with her Gigi!
The reception area....the entire property was beautiful and made for a wonderful wedding.
CONGRATULATIONS KELLY AND CHRIS!!

Ummmm....didn't see anything about the awesome, most beautiful bow her Aunt DeAnn made for her baptism....RUDE! Even though you didn't give me any props, I still loved the pics and I have a few to share with you as well! Glad you had a great first Mother's Day! :)
